I think giving up sweets is a good thing to do. In exchange, do you eat something else? Sometimes substituting one food for another helps, such as giving up snacks and eating fruit. Also, imagining your ideal body and what you will do with it once it arrives is very good. "Image training" is very powerful. Thoughts lead to actions, and actions lead to results.
